In this piece, I wanted to capture the feeling of calm that happens after a storm in the late summer evening, when the whole world seems to turn pink. This painting measures 48" wide x 60" tall and has been completed on a 1.5" gallery wrapped stretched canvas, which is varnished, wired, and ready to hang.
The background in this painting has a subtle iridescent shimmer, giving a radiant appearance, with variegated shades of peach that shift slightly depending on what angle you look at it.
