This painting is part of a small series I completed on round canvases, studying various polished gemstones in a semi-abstracted way. In the metaphysical world, Tiger's Eye is thought to have the qualities of protection and strength. It is known as "grounding" stone.
This piece has been completed in acrylic paint, with touches of genuine 23k gold leaf shimmering throughout. Measurements of the stretched canvas are 24" round, and approximately 1" deep. It is signed on the back and varnished with an archival gloss varnish, wired and ready to hang.
